Photo Essay: How to Secure the Basses

The cover is off and the bass mechanism is now exposed. This is a pretty severe case of shipping damage from unsecured basses. Sometimes only a few buttons will drop, or they all drop evenly and it is possible to coax them back into place. The shipping company must have given the carton a pretty good hit - perhaps by dropping it from a height, maybe off a platform or conveyor belt.
